Scooter’s 1600th bar, first visited in 2022.
We almost didn’t stop here because of the party bus parked out front, but we decided to give it a shot. Glad we did, because the party inside didn’t overcrowd the bar and wasn’t obnoxious. And we really liked this place. It reminded us a lot of Wolski’s Tavern in Milwaukee.
The whole room is filled with nostalgic childhood memorabilia — most of it looking to be from about mid 1960s to mid 1980s. And, in a score for me, they had Polish beer so I had Okocim O.K. Beer by Browar Okocim.
They really want to make sure anyone using the men’s room leaves free from both germs and odors.
