Scooter’s 848th bar, first visited in 2010.
This is a BBQ restaurant/bar in a small town in southeastern Missouri.
There was no room at the bar (someone grabbed the last 2 barstools just as I entered) so I grabbed one of the few remaining open tables. It was the night before Thanksgiving, so it felt more like I was at a high school reunion than at a bar with all the Ohmygawds and It’syoouuus and hugs surrounding me.
The far side of the bar has several pool tables and a stage. Something was being set up, I think it was karaoke, but I left before it started.
