Formerly a trolley barn, this run down old building next to the railroad at the southern end of Prospect has been one bar or another for about half a century or so.
The clientele I’ve seen on my visits are almost universally old white drunk men and the women who love them. Drinks are very cheap, and beer is served extremely cold. This is a bar for those with true iron livers.
This is definitely one of those “letting loose” kind of places. Just about anything goes here. In local dive bar terms, this would be the Zoo Bar of South KC — except raunchy.
No true KC dive bar fan should be allowed to die without drinking here at least once.
