Scooter’s 1758th bar, first visited in 2024.
The final stop on our tasting tour during our weekend camping trip at Watkins Mill was a place we’d tried to visit a month earlier but they were not doing tastings on that particular day.
It’s mostly a mercantile, but there’s a long bar down one side that is mostly stand-up for tastings, though there’s a few barstools at the bar end for those sitting down for beer, wine, or spirits.
We assumed this would be a wine tasting, so were surprised when we found out the tastings were of moonshine and various other spirits and liqueurs. Our choices were “everything on the bar and on the back wall”, and there were literally dozens of choices most of which we could barely read from the counter, so it was pretty much a crapshoot what we got but we did find some tasty surprises that we purchased.
