We arrived in the Benson neighborhood before most places were open, and this was the more interesting looking of the places we found open that also served food.

The menu is primarily German food & beer, but when it came to the food we both got nervous and went with “safe” picks. My friend got kebobs (which turned out to me more like wraps instead of the skewers he was expecting) while I went safer still with chicken strips. Beer-wise I had a Hofbräu Dunkel / Dunkel Gold by Staatliches Hofbräuhaus München.

It was too cold to enjoy the beer garden itself so we stayed inside. But it’s a pretty impressive patio.
