Scooter’s 1071st bar, first visited in 2015.
The last time I was here, this was Pennylane Records and I was buying cassettes and my first CDs. That’s right, I hadn’t been here in so long I completely missed the entire Streetside Records era of this building.
Today, in approximately the same place I picked up the latest Pet Shop Boys album nearly 30 years ago, I instead picked up a pint glass of a local microbrew.
We sat at the dual-sized island bar, while college sports fans watched games from the tables surrounding us. My friend grabbed a bite to eat, but I’m finicky and couldn’t find anything on the menu I’d eat.
On our way out we noticed there’s a rooftop deck, but it was a chilly day so we didn’t head up there.
