Scooter’s 1045th bar, first visited in 2014.
The third stop in our 9-states-in-1-day pub crawl, representing Kansas. We hadn’t taken into account that some of these small towns would be having Labor Day weekend festivals so we were very lucky to find a place to park a few blocks away.
The bar was very busy as we arrived right at lunchtime, and the place was backed with festival-goers grabbing a bite to eat.
The lower level is pure dive bar. The upper level has a separate bar wish several taps featuring microbreweries from all over. Unfortunately we didn’t get to check this area out as it was closed during our visit.
