After a long day of driving. moving furniture and boxes, and finally a large and delicious home-cooked southern meal at B’s grandma-in-law’s house, we headed to downtown Macon to check out the nightlife.
We started out at The Rookery, as we had heard repeatedly it’s one of the most popular spots downtown.
The Rookery is more of a restaurant, but there’s a rectangular bar island in the back. We settled in back there and had some Guinness.
