Bar 12 is a popular sports dive in NKC’s Swift Avenue dive bar row. it’s best known as a karaoke bar, but it also has weekly poker nights and DJs a few nights a week — usually with no cover charge.
This bar doesn’t serve food, but they let you order food from the Chip Shot next door and bring it in to eat.
The bartenders here are great — I haven’t met one yet I don’t like. Still, this isn’t my favorite bar in Swift. No fault of the owners or staff, I think it’s just the fact that this bar attracts a younger crowd than most of the other bars in this area.
Currently karaoke is Monday and Tuesday nights, poker is on Thursday nights, and the rest of the nights are DJs.
